RWI secures deals worth QR1.1m with top contractors in Qatar

This will involve the delivery of more than 2,345 cubic metres of its high quality rubber insulation products, including ‘Gulf-O-Flex’ tubes, sheet rolls and rubber foam tape.

A company spokesperson also added that the active movement of RWI in Qatar is part of its aims to address the increasing demand for rubber insulation materials in the country.

Among RWI’s newest Qatar-based customers include Jaid Trading & Contracting, Penta Trading Group LLC, Rashid Al Mulla Sanitary & Building Materials Company, Rodha Khalid Co., Zeeby, Qatar Universal, Air Conditioning Technology, Equipment Trading & Contracting Co. and Laffan.

Representatives from these companies have confirmed that they were impressed by the ‘Gulf-O-Flex’ brand’s insulation properties and environmental-friendliness. Especially designed for the HVAC and refrigeration Industry, ‘Gulf-O-Flex’ products feature flexible electrometric thermal Insulation and prevents condensation or frost formation on refrigerant lines, cold water plumbing and chilled water system. In addition, the CFC-free, fire proof and smoke-free products retard heat flow for hot water plumbing and liquid heating.

RWI recently announced that it is undertaking extensive efforts to step up production to 1,800 containers per year in order to adequately supply the rubber products’ needs of Qatar and the rest of the region, in line with its aims to secure Dhs60m in revenues for 2009. In addition to regional markets, the company also caters to the rubber insulation needs of companies from more than 90 countries, including the US, Germany, Russia, Canada and Singapore.
