The restaurant’s private dining area and intimate bar was the perfect venue for American expatriates and existing fans of the US fine-dining steak restaurant, allowing them to enjoy familiar cuisine in luxurious surroundings whilst networking with their fellow Americans and ensuring ongoing connections within the Dubai community.
Louis Henry Horsley, Restaurant Manager, says:
“We here at Ruth’s Chris Steak House Dubai have decided that being an American brand it only made sense to connect with the local American Business Council. The relationship proves to be mutually beneficial in that we see the potential marketing and networking opportunities with Americans here in the Middle East, and Council Members can still make a connection, whether it be personally or through formal company events, with a classic American brand.”
The two business events were hosted in Ruth’s Chris Steak House, serving up an exclusive menu of hors d’oevres and welcome beverages for the Council members, encouraging members to network both in the private dining room, and later in the atmospheric bar at the front of the restaurant.
American Business Council members were encouraged to get the most out of their ABC membership by attending this networking evening to not only make new business contacts and renew longstanding connections – but to enjoy the welcome taste of the US with Ruth’s Chris Steak House – now here at The Monarch Dubai.
President of the American Business Council, W.J. Ryan was originally drawn to partnering with the Ruth’s Chris Steak House brand due to their American beef.
He said, “The theory behind the American Business Council is to increase sales of US goods and services overseas, which in turn, reflects support back in the States. Our mission is to work side by side with the American Consulate and American Embassy here in the UAE, and continue to form collaborative partnerships with strong American brands over here. By Ruth’s Chris Steak House fully supporting and only serving USDA Prime American steaks, this helps businesses over in the US.”
Having held the ABC’s Board Meeting in the restaurant and then following with the bi-annual new members cocktail event, Mr Ryan was extremely pleased with the collaboration.
“The turnout for the event was huge – with a large number of both new and existing members coming together to create or rekindle existing relationships. I’m delighted with our choice to have held this event at Ruth’s Chris Steak House. The restaurant is roomy with nice, big tables – and I love the seating; but most of all – the staff are extremely professional. I do hope that the American Business Council are going to be long-term partners with Ruth’s Chris Steak House,” he said.
Dan Clayton, General Manager of Ruth’s Chris Steak House, was also in attendance on the evening. “We’re proud to have been host to the American Business Council’s bi-annual event – as we have strong American roots and so are delighted that we can support the local council in this way – allowing the members to feel in a home away from home.”
