A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Mostapha is a highly regarded expert in fusion cuisine who created menus for a string of US 5 Star hotels, later hosting his own TV food show before being headhunted to cook up a storm at Doha’s exclusive American Grill.

The restaurant offers indoor and patio seating for 135 guests, meaning American Grill is big enough to cater for the expected demand but small enough to maintain its fashionable, exclusive atmosphere.

Owner Wataniya Restaurants plan to expand the chain to two locations in 2008, with additional new sites planned for 2009.
“This will be the chain’s 14th restaurant in the Middle East and North Africa and the 6th new location opened this year,” says CEO Nasser Beydoun.
