Water Life enters Middle East domestic water market

United Arab Emirates: Tuesday, November 29 - 2005 @ 12:37

Based on international standards of the intricate Reverse Osmosis based purification process, Water Life Technology also announced that it has set up a state of the art manufacturing facility at Jabel Ali – Dubai at a cost of AED 18 million to tap the huge demand and potential of the Middle East and African market. Going ahead, the company also plans to establish a dedicated research and development centre in UAE to delve into available water treatment, new product development and also support water conservation in the region.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Vijay Shah, Managing Director – Water Life Technology said, “The per capita consumption of water in the Middle East is very high owing to climatic conditions as well as increasing population. This makes the region a very lucrative market offering great potential for safe and convenient domestic water solutions. With our global experience and expertise we are confident of meeting this huge demand by providing the consumer with a new solution to drinking water.”

Commenting further, Mr. Shah said, “The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that 80% of all sickness in the world is attributed to unsafe water. While Reverse Osmosis is proven to be most effective process to pure and healthy drinking water, we at Water Life have developed products at different price points in order to provide safe drinking water for all sections of customers.”

Among the water purification products launched include, premium domestic Reverse Osmosis based products, Water Ex – a 6 stage Bio Ceramic system, Water Lagoon – a 5 stage Neo Filter system, Water Gem – a Multi Stage system and Water Crystal – a Multi Stage Compact water purification system.

Elaborating on the Reverse Osmosis Technology, Mr. Maqsood, CEO – Water Life Technology said, “In water purification systems, the goal is not to dilute the salt solution, but to separate the pure water from the salt and other contaminants. Ordinary water filters use a screen to separate only particles of dirt sediment from water but reverse osmosis employs a semi permeable membrane that removes not only particles but also an extremely high percentage of dissolved contaminants-molecule by molecule-from raw tap water, retaining all essential minerals to produce 95-99% pure water.”

Mr. Vijay Shah also mentioned,

“Water Life is committed to this market and has aggressive plans for this region. Our products are an outcome of a lot of research and development and we are confident that they will serve as a new alternative to water consumption in this region. We will also look at tapping the industrial water purification market soon.”

With a decade of experience in designing, manufacturing and distributing quality water purification and water filtration process systems, Water Life Technology are authorities in water desalination and purification systems using reverse osmosis technology. Catering to water requirements right from domestic households, commercial to industrial use, Water Life also sets up purification plants based on reverse osmosis technology as well as water softening plants for hard water for use in industries, while also offering customized water systems for offices, restaurants, laboratories, hospitals among others.
