In keeping with the ‘Powering Learning’ theme of BETT 2011, Maths-Whizz, are encouraging visitors to power happiness in numbers. In order for effective learning to take place, happiness needs to be fostered; Maths-Whizz was created as a fun platform to engage children and parents whilst offering best practice support.
Developed by leading educational experts, it is aligned to national maths curricula across the world. The online suite of services is guaranteed to raise the standards in numeracy for five to 13 year-olds using times, tables, games, interactive maths animations and unique tutoring methods. The research findings are a testament to the system’s techniques, revealing that students using Maths-Whizz for 60 minutes per week improve their ‘Maths Age’, on average by 1.6 years in 12 months. It creates the best possible learning outcomes by building confidence and encouraging linked learning at home and in school.
