The Official Awards Ceremony will take place at the Iraq Procurement Summit 2005, to be held in Amman, Jordan on 28-30 June. The ceremony will be organised to honour the hard work and integrity of those people who have strived above and beyond the call of duty in all sectors of the Iraqi economy.
Senior Iraqi officials and business community representatives will be in attendance to present the awards and honour the considerable achievements of those working hard for a peaceful and stable reconstruction process in Iraq.
“The international business community wishes to honour the hard work of these individuals, who have overcome a number of difficulties, recognising them for their achievements,” said Dr Mostafa Al-Bazergan, chairman of the Iraqi-British Business Council (IBBC). “The Reconstruction Awards ceremony will mark the outstanding contribution of people and organisations from both the local and international sectors. It is our belief that these awards will strengthen the business, cultural and humanitarian of all those involved in the challenging task of rebuilding Iraq.”
