While Abi Chaker enlightened audiences on how to get on the path to a zero waste society, Chemaly intrigued audiences with his performance on the topic of recycling information. But most importantly, the newly launched gallery differentiates itself by showcasing emerging artists through its first exhibition titled “Crisis Practice” Curated by Charbel-Joseph H. Boutros.
This one of a kind exhibition will run up to the 6th of September on weekdays and will display work by notable names from the art scene such as Stephanie Saade, Pascal Hachem, Caline Aoun, Paul Hage Boutros and Walid Nasrala.
Notable people were present such as HE Nicolas Sehnaoui and serial entrepreneur Maroun Chammas, along with key people form the art and design industry.
The driven agency is a creative space that operates in a boutique style structure. With the newly launched multi-faceted creative space, W8 now comprises an atelier where all sorts of graphics, prints and objects are created, a training facility for lectures, trainings and workshops and an open lworkshop ibrary that contains all the books that inspired 14 years of W8. It is also home for a permanent art space, Workshop Gallery, platform for emergent artists for comtemporary art.
A range of activities make up W8’s scope of work, namely Brand creation, logo and corporate identity, brochures, posters, product packaging, stands, copyrighting, creating websites and interactive solutions, apps and game design, ATL and BTL campaigns and strategic media booking among numerous others.
Capping a successful launch, WonderEight delivered an event that was both enlightening and stimulating. It sure looks like they’re set out to enrich their legacy with many different milestones.
