WRENCH | enterprise, an enterprise data management system and project-control solution is also the world’s only fully automated project management solution, enabling full control over every aspect of the project from planning to handover.

“In order to meet the current demands and track our project submissions from our subcontractors and internal documentation through to the clients approval, there are several critical factors that needs to be considered and one of the most important of them is – the project and document management system. We wanted a more sophisticated document management and control system that provided us with real time information and control than the one we were using. WRENCH | enterprise, was the only software that we evaluated that could provide us all the features that we needed. This software was also able to integrate with our existing infrastructure,” explained Mr. Ron Brinkman, Technical Manager, Murray & Roberts”.

Around 75000 correspondences are expected over the lifecycle of the project, which consumes a large storage area and maintenance. With WRENCH, the incoming correspondences are being scanned and registered in the system and distributed electronically to the users.

“The WRENCH implementation has helped us to streamline our process and improve our overall performance,” said Colin Pickering, Project Director, Saadiyat Beach Resort Project.

“It is very common that the design drawings also get revised during the construction phase due to certain changes in requirements. Any change in design drawing has a subsequent change in shop drawing and the material requirements. WRENCH drawing/specter comparison feature enables the quantity surveyors to easily identify the changes in design across different revisions. With the help of this software they can identify the additions and deletions easily and identify the material requirements on a real time basis,” added Clint Nisbet, Construction Manager, Murray & Roberts.

“The site has seen substantial increase in productivity in the order of 25%, resulting in the reduction of number of human errors, significant savings in paper consumption and improved quality in each technical deliverable,” added Clint Nisbet.

Daniel Varghese, CEO, WRENCH Solutions, said, “After having worked with engineering companies for over a decade we have gathered invaluable insights into how they function and what their challenges are. We have spent several years in fine-tuning our software to fulfill those needs systematically. We are delighted to know that we have added value to our clients by reducing their project cycle times and have also increased their productivity”.

WRENCH SOLUTIONS has over 60% market share in India, with some of the biggest players in the market like Larsen&Toubro, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) & Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO, Vatech Wabag, BHEL PEM, Khatib & Alami, Metito, Bajaj, Tata, TVS, BHEL, MICO and Kennametal. WRENCH is funded by the Technology Development Board, a board under the Department of the Science and Technology, Govt. of India.
