Xerox VP visits Dubai eGovernment

During his visit Machon met staff at Xerox Emirates and Xerox Middle East Operations to update employees on Xerox’s strategy for growth. Having signed the first contract for content management by Xerox and the e-government. Jean-Noel Machon took this opportunity to visit Salem Al Shair and discuss Xerox’s commitment and support to ensure a fruitful long-term business relationship.

During his meeting with Salem Al Shair, Machon said: “The UAE is one of the fastest growing markets in the world in terms of new technology adoption that has become the key propeller of the economic growth. The key reason behind this exponential growth is that unlike other governments, the UAE government acts like a private sector and is quick in decision-making”.

Salem Al Shair said: “We are pleased with our long standing relationship with Xerox and are extremely satisfied with the high level of professionalism they have provided us with. Developing close partnership between Dubai eGovernment and state of the art enterprises such as Xerox, is a key factor in increasing business productivity in a society thus leading to greater economic progress”.

“We are committed to the UAE market and the region and we are confident that the governments here will continue to support our initiatives in enhancing the region’s office productivity,” added Machon.

Elaborating on Xerox’s colour strategy in the region Machon stated: “Xerox is committed to providing state-of-the-art technology in the Middle East to produce colour documents in an increasingly easy and fast way, without compromising on quality. Colour output capability in the office is fast becoming a necessity, and our product portfolio; color enabled devices will address these needs of all organizations of all sizes and will help people find better ways to do great work.”

Xerox will continue as a key player in its three core businesses; Production Printing – driving the new business of printing, The Office – leading with color and satisfying all customer needs from small offices to larger workgroups, Global Services – delivering process innovation and managed services.
