United Arab Emirates: Saturday, November 20 - 2004 @ 09:06

This revolutionary product marks an important milestone for Land Rover, a brand that is evolving to ensure that all its models represent supreme engineering, sophistication, luxury and technological advancement.

Speaking on the arrival of the Vogue, Mr. Marwan Halabi, Regional Marketing Manager, Land Rover said, “We want to offer our customers the very best and this innovative product has been a direct result of listening to our consumer needs. The new Vogue paves the way for the future direction of the brand and will make the universally acclaimed Range Rover more desirable than ever before.“

One of the most revolutionary additions to the product is the Venturecam technology, which is an industry first and unique to Land Rover. Its versatility and boundless usability really make it a product reflecting pure Land Rover spirit, opening endless possible benefits for the owner.

Venturecam is a wireless instant relay camera, located in the front passenger side facia of the vehicle, which transmits a real time, colour picture back to the Touch screen, from where it is controlled.

A host of other new features and technical enhancements have been made in the interior, which give the vehicle a leading edge in technology. In order for these innovations to perform at their optimal level the copper wiring network ‘under the skin’ of the vehicle has been replaced with a new optical fibre system. This material is far less susceptible to interference, making it much more efficient.

The colour Touchscreen, positioned within the front facia of the vehicle, has now been upgraded and acts as a hub for the revolutionized new features that come inherent in the vehicle. The screen itself has been modified with a higher resolution unit giving a cleaner, sharper image and the control buttons for the system have been re-positioned to provide easy access and user comfort.

The Touchscreen comes in handy while operating the GPS TV/Navigation system, which is an option that makes the Range Rover reach any destination with ease. The owner can view maps as a single full screen image or utilize a split screen feature and view both map and directional instructions. The new satellite navigation system replaces the multi-CD based system and is now DVD based, making operation not only much quicker but also hassle free.

The versatile usage of the Touch screen also provides the option to use the new upgraded sound system via the screen. The Range Rover Vogue comes fitted with a superb Harman / kardon sound system, which employs a 6-disc changer compatible with CDs and MP3 discs and is equipped with a hi-line Logic7 system employing 14 speakers that produce the most scintillating surround sound with upto 710 watts of digital amplification.

In addition, the integrated phone port system has been totally re-worked giving the driver the flexibility to now use their mobile phone in-car. Held within the front arm-rest is a phone docking station into which you can clip your mobile phone. Moreover, the system is Bluetooth enabled, thereby giving the owner the flexibility to operate the phone via Voice control even if it is left in the briefcase or jacket.

The new Vogue’s bold and distinctive design coupled with a range of innovative features takes the Range Rover a step ahead of the rest, setting a benchmark for technology and innovation among other luxury automotive brands.
