Mobily announced recently the signing of a new agreement with IBM in addition to the current Mobily-IBM alliance. This agreement establishes Mobily as a tier 1 partner to provide certain IBM hardware products and is based on the success of the Mobily – IBM alliance.
This agreement will support Mobily’s growth strategy by diversifying the services provided to the business sector, in addition to providing organizations an end to end solution covering hardware, software, and connectivity through a one stop shop model, which will reduce IT infrastructure spending and increase efficiency.
Dr. Marwan Al- Ahmadi, Chief Business Officer at Mobily stressed that the agreement is in addition to the alliance between the two parties, which reflects positively the quality of services and products that are currently offered for the business sector.
Dr. Al- Ahmadi indicated that Mobily relies heavily on the experience of its business sector customers for the development of products and services provided to them, and certainly the addition to the alliance through the provision of IBM hardware offerings is a living example of this trend, which is one of the GED strategy foundations.
Dr. Al -Ahmadi noted that the business sector has now become more aware of the trend that would bring the growth of its financial resources at the lowest cost, and to ensure that access to services and software and hardware from one source will achieve this goal.
The Mobily – IBM alliance supports Mobily’s transformation plan towards becoming an Information, Communication, & Technology service provider (ICT) company , also providing information security services to its customers from the private and public sectors.
