Covering ready-to-wear, couture and accessories as rolled out from the runways of the fashion capitals of the world, Valentino, Fawzia Al Nafea, Kenzo, Al Dana Cloaks and Dolce & Gabbana boutiques housed at MODA Mall took to the runway with the latest catwalk styles.
Some of the trendy designs showcased were animal print, faux fur, tartan and striking prints from the key fashion cities of London, New York, Paris and Milan. This fall the trends are all about contrasts as fashion goes dark.
Some of the cool, classic colours that took to the MODA Mall runway were shades of grey, pinks, reds and electric blues, with matching accessories.
Throughout the month of October, MODA Mall and Bahrain World Trade Center will participate in the Think Pink National Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign with lights in pink adorning the iconic landmark. This is a testament that MODA Mall is not only passionate about fashion and latest trends but is also passionate in joining international events that support the community.
The MODA Mall Fashion Festival kicked off on 25th September and is scheduled to run until 12th October 2013. Inaugurated by leading fashion trendsetters, Huda and Mona Kattan along with Veronica Kemsky, leading international fashion illustrator and Sally Mathews, Fashion Director at Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, Noura Bouzo, Saudi-based artist, this high-end Festival provides fashion conscious shoppers and trendy visitors a unique experience in beauty, style and creativity in its highest form.
The Festival features exciting fashion-themed activities such as The Fashion Capitals of the World, which showcases the latest in Autumn/Winter2013 trends; Fashion Illustration Exhibition, highlighting the most popular designs, an exclusive Woman’s Art Exhibition, which portrays Arab women in latest ballgown dresses from the runways of New York and Paris. In addition, to further engage the fashionistas more activities include a Nail Bar booth to pamper customers with the latest nail art for Fall 2013; an Elephant Photo booth to capture everyone’s high-fashion memorable poses with family and friends; the Cookie Jar for those mouth-watering moments.
Furthermore, visitors and shoppers to The Fashion Capitals of the World setup will have the chance to enter a competition and win a luxury designer watch by answering a set of questions about the Festival and posting responses on MODA Mall’s facebook page.
MODA Mall is a high-end shopping mall, offering a veritable who’s who of the global fashion community. Visitors to the mall are presented with a choice of more than 120 designer brand name boutiques previously unattainable in the Kingdom of Bahrain; including De Beers, Dior, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and Versace.

After the allotted time, customers can continue to enjoy unlimited free parking on receipt of a parking voucher provided by MODA Mall shops upon their purchase of goods, or alternatively, use their purchase receipt of BD 10/- and above as a FREE exit pass by submitting to the parking cashier.
