Indian School Ras Al Khaimah mulling new campus

: Tuesday, June 24 - 2014 @ 01:35

The 36-year-old Indian School Ras Al Khaimah has announced it will have new premises for conducting co- and extra-curricular activities, Khaleej Times has reported. The school, which is run by the Indian Association in the emirate, was conducting classes in the nearby Kerala Samajam, a non-profit cultural organisation that too is under the aegis of the Indian Association. The school is now making arrangements to hold the classes that were earlier being held outside within the campus, once students return from their summer holidays, said S A Salim, president of Indian Association and chairman of the school. Constructing a new school campus is also being discussed, Salim said. “To overcome the infrastructure constraint, the management is trying to get land for a new school building,” he said.
