The Business Leaders Campaign 2013 (BLC) led by INJAZ sponsored by USAID, concluded. This year marked the Sixth year for the BLC, which was launched under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in 2008, and so far engaged over 600 business and social leaders having a direct impact on the lives of around 39000 Jordanian students.
Consistent with the core values of INJAZ, the BLC is an innovative program that stresses the vital importance of knowledge and leadership to the Kingdom’s future. Using an inspiring interactive lecture format, CEOs described their individual career paths, shared their strategies for success, and discussed the many challenges confronted by contemporary business leaders. Students, in turn, were able to discuss their own professional aspirations and to seek guidance from current leaders in the business community. By engaging the students with business leaders, knowledge and expertise were transferred to Jordan’s future leaders.
The BLC helps students to actively plan for their futures, to become better decision makers, to explore new and diverse career possibilities, and, ultimately, to become highly productive members of the Jordanian Society.
INJAZ first started in 1999 as a USAID funded program and in 2001 it became an independent non-profit Jordanian organization under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah with the mission of inspiring and preparing young Jordanians to become productive members in their society and succeed in the global economy. Since its inception, INJAZ has successfully reached over 850,000 beneficiaries across the kingdom through its network of dedicated more than 22.000 volunteers and its partners from the private, public, and civic society sectors. INJAZ is also a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide.
