As a part of a series of fundraising activities held by Reach Out to Asia (ROTA) this Ramadan, ROTA placed a “My Education… My Hope” kiosk in the Virgin Mega Store at Villaggio Mall for the entire month of Ramadan and leading up to Eid.
70 volunteers gathered at the kiosk to sell merchandise to support ROTA and entertain children with games and arts and crafts activities. A special guest appearance was also made by Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Thani, a ROTA campaign Ambassador.

Since the launch of this campaign, a number of generous financial contributions have been made to help ROTA support urgently needed educational projects in five neighboring countries: Palestine, Yemen, Pakistan, Nepal, and Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
Also we would like to thank the One stores in Landmark and Villagio, they were also big supporters of this campaign, selling ROTA merchandise to help raise funds for ‘My Education … My Hope’. All the proceeds of sales will go a long way to supporting these projects, and will help spread the word about ROTA’s mission and work.
