Students of Regent International School for the second consecutive year joined hands for a noble cause and contributed Dhs10,000 for special needs children of Rashid Paediatric Centre. Mr. Mark Hughes, Head of Secondary department, was delighted with the students achievements and said, “Working with the local community and fundraising for charities like Rashid Paediatric Centre is an important part of our students’ learning experience. The students and teachers of Regent International School have together made the event enjoyable and one to be reminisced.”

“We have always endeavored to nurture in our children the spirit of service for the larger benefit of the community. We are convinced that activities such as this will go a long way in integrating children with the community, and more importantly, help them understand the need to walk with their differently gifted friends hand-in-hand,” added Mr. Hughes.

The Rashid Paediatric Centre is unique in providing a holistic multi-disciplinary approach to special education where each child receives a programme specially designed to meet his or her individual needs.
