The Arab Oil & Gas Show 2014 – the International Trade Exhibition for Onshore and Offshore Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industries Serving the Middle East and Beyond, which was inaugurated by His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy and the Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), successfully concluded on March 19th 2014, drawing about 7,200 visitors during its three-day span. The exhibitors commended the strategic importance of the event for the oil and gas industry and acknowledged the exhibition’s unique business-conducive platform in connecting them to energy stakeholders from within UAE, other Arab states and around the world. Moving forward from 2014, Arab Oil & Gas promises to return in an improved format from 24th to 26th March 2015, at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
Anselm Godinho, Managing Director at International Conferences and Exhibitions (IC&E), the organising company of the show, remarked: “Following 3 days of back to back industry networking, trade opportunities and industry training & recruitment features, we are proud to have hosted a very successful edition of the Arab Oil & Gas Show which also featured an extremely well-received Conference by the UAE Society of Engineers. We are overwhelmed and pleased by the positive response received from visitors, with many of them interested in the possibility of showcasing their own companies at the next show edition. On the flip side, the positive response from our exhibitors has indicated to us the importance of the event within the global context and its significance in cementing this region as a key energy-focused marketplace. The success has also motivated us to return with improved offerings and enhanced features for the next edition so we are able to serve the industry better.”
The 18th edition of the show proved rewarding for the global exhibitors, leading international oil and gas experts, top industry executives and key decision makers who are increasingly eyeing the Middle East as a promising trading and networking market. Several of the exhibiting companies showcased new products, technologies and solutions to the visitors from the oil and gas industry. The event also provided an ideal platform for the exhibitors and visitors to network with each other in a dynamic business environment.
“As a first time exhibitor, Bin Quraya was impressed by the quality of both the exhibitors and visitors at the Arab Oil & Gas Show. The venue and facilities were superb, and several promising results have materialized as a direct result of our participation,” commented Shadi N. Commenting on their participation, Ali Teeb, Technical Sales Engineer of Master Tech Company, said: “Arab Oil & Gas 2014 helped us to promote our company to a wider audience from the Middle East and the rest of the world. It also provided us with an opportunity to meet industry experts from all over the region. It was a great networking event for us, as we were able to develop substantial contacts in a span of only three days.”
