Norwegian energy company DNO said that it remains committed to its operations in Kurdistan Region, which witnessed violence in recent months, Shafaq News reported. The company’s profit has declined 7.5% to $44.4m to come without expectations of profit of $45m, while revenues amounted to $143m, down from expectations by reaching $155m in a Reuters poll. The production has increased with the intensification of the company’s operations in its Tauki field in Kurdistan Region and has risen by 78% on a quarterly basis to 81669 barrels of oil equivalent per day to exceed the expectations of his arrival to 70 942 barrels. The chief executive of DNO company ,Bijan Mosawer Rahmani “We are working on the ground in Kurdistan since ten years, including during the recent crisis and previous crises and remain committed to a strong and fully committed to our operations (there).”
