ECC International, LLC (ECC) announced plans to join U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker on a Middle East trade mission. The delegation will visit the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Qatar from March 8-14, 2014.
The focus of the trade mission is to develop export opportunities for U.S. businesses in the infrastructure sector, and will highlight project management and engineering, renewable energy, smart grid and energy efficiency, and environmental technologies.
“Working in the Middle East for over two decades, ECC is eager to develop new partnerships and U.S. export opportunities in the growth areas of infrastructure development, renewable energy, and environmental technologies in the countries we are visiting,” said Vice President David Bluestein, who represents ECC International, LLC in the delegation.
This will be the first trade mission visit to the region by a sitting U.S. Secretary of Commerce in fifteen years, highlighting the enormous current and near-future opportunities for U.S. businesses. ECC has completed projects totaling over $3bn in the region.
