Iran’s Free Trade Zones Coordination Council has said the country plans to build oil storage and export facilities in the Jask Island, Times of Oman ha reported. The facility will be the Islamic Republic’s second oil export terminal. The country also plans to set up four oil storage facilities on Kharg Island, in the Arabian Gulf, said the council’s secretary, Akbar Torkan. Once the facilities come on stream, the island’s storage capacity will reach 28 million barrels, said Torkan.
