Iran plans ‘several’ small refineries in Assalouyeh

Iran has announced plans to implement several mini-refineries in the Southern province of Bushehr to boost the country’s gas condensates production, Fars news has reported. The projects include eight gas condensate mini-refineries be constructed in Assalouyeh, with a total processing capacity of 480,000 b/d. Each refinery is estimated to cost IR2.2 to IR3trn and would produce light naphtha, heavy naphtha, kerosene, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and gas oil.
