A major focus of the conference is the frequency spectrum aspects in addition to the broadband delivery, and challenges and obstacles facing the telecommunications sector worldwide,” Al Rawahi noted.

He added, “The Sultanate is working together with brotherly countries to take advantage of the evolution taking place in the ICT arena through the exchange of views and experiences, and through forming agreements unifying regulations and laws regulating the services provided by the telecommunications companies in a way to provide flexible and quality options to all users at both local and international scale.”

At the ITU Telecom World 2012, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority presents a range of visualisations and proposals on the challenges facing the frequency spectrum management, among other related themes.
