The Cultural Offices and Art Dubai strengthen their cooperation through new Memorandum of Understanding

The Cultural Office of Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Art Dubai signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with a view to strengthen the cooperation and exchange of information between the two organisations as well as establish special programs to support the development of the young emerging artists in the UAE.

The MoU was signed by Mona Bin Kalli, Director of The Cultural Office and Antonia Carver, Director of Art Dubai Fair in the presence of representatives from the two institutions and Dubai Women Establishment.

Commenting on the occasion, Mona Bin Kalli said, “The Cultural Office of HH Sheikha Manal is pleased to collaborate with Art Dubai, who share a our commitment to fostering a vibrant and creative city, by supporting the professional development of young local artists wishing to develop and expand their careers in the arts and cultural sector.”
Bin Kalli added, “Moreover, this partnership reflects artistic vision of our beloved leaders to ensure the continued progress and success of Dubai’s arts sector through the establishment of projects that will help nurture the idea environments for creative and artistic thinking.”

For her part, Antonia Carver, Director of Art Dubai Fair said, “It is a pleasure to collaborate once again with The Cultural Office of HH Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, following the success our inaugural partnership on two editions of The Sheikha Manal Little Artists Program at Art Dubai. This agreement aims to inspire and educate young artists through different programs that will provide them learning opportunities with established artists, curators, and researchers; all within the setting of state of the art facilities centered around the best of contemporary art.”

This Agreement will see the two entities collaborate on various upcoming projects, programs and initiatives including lectures, art forums and special art programs. The Memorandum of Understanding will run for three years after which both parties will be able to review the status of the agreement for future collaborations and improvements.
