The Metropolitan Palace Hotel has booked a 48-sq-m booth at the show, which will not only showcase the latest facilities and services offered by the hotel, but upcoming properties to be developed in Lebanon by owning company Al Habtoor Group as well. At present Al Habtoor has two new hotels in the pipeline for the Lebanese market: the Metropolitan Tower and Convention Center (MTCC), due to open in May 2005 next to the hotel in Sin El Fil, and the Metropolitan Park, due to open in October 2004 in Hazmieh. The Metropolitan Palace Hotel and the MTCC are to be connected with a bridge to form the Metropolitan City Center.
“AWTTE is the ideal venue for the inbound and outbound travel and tourism industry to come together in order to develop the promising potential of this fast growing market,” said Rahim Abou Omar, chief executive officer Metropolitan Hotels. “It unites pan-Arab and world travel tourism markets.
