DFRE hails long-standing support of key business entities in ensuring success of DSS

With the 17th edition of Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) moving into top gear with the launch of world-class events including world premieres of internationally renowned entertainment concepts, concerts, theatrical shows and an array of shopping options and a mega promotion, the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has hailed the support and commitment of its Strategic Partners and Key Sponsors in ensuring the success of DSS year after year.

Since it was launched in 1998, DSS had grown in popularity over the years, and today has become a major regional attraction, an achievement that is largely due to the whole-hearted support extended to DFRE by leading business entities since the inception.

Saeed Al Falasi, Director, Strategic Alliances Division at DFRE, said, “As we usher in the latest edition of Dubai Summer Surprises, DFRE is confident that this iconic summer extravaganza, which is a part of the annual calendar of festivals and celebrations organized by DFRE will again be a huge success this year. Our upbeat assessment stems from the continued support offered to DFRE by leading business entities, who have constantly ensured that the public-private sector partnership nurtured by DFRE from the outset continues to flourish throughout the year.”
