GAC launches ‘Mitsubishi Oman’ mobile app

General Automotive Company (GAC), the official distributors of Mitsubishi Vehicles in Oman, has launched a new mobile app specifically designed to provide a wealth of services in a simple, easy to use format assistance to both Mitsubishi fans and owners. The Android and iPhone-compatible app, called ‘Mitsubishi Oman’, gives its users quicker access and a faster response to numerous services that would normally require the user to either visit the webpage or the showroom directly, such as booking a test drive, booking a service and much more.

Mark Tomlinson, General Manager of General Automotive Company said, “With people using so many different devices and website and apps as part of their purchasing decision in today’s digital age, it was important that we build an app that offers immersive, rich online and mobile experience that meets our consumers’ expectations. With this in mind, we have created ‘Mitsubishi Oman’ as a natural extension of our constantly evolving online digital experience strategy. It will be an invaluable tool for both our customers and Mitsubishi enthusiasts alike, to interact with our products and stay up to date with the latest news and information from Mitsubishi.”

Available for free on the iTunes App Store and the Google play store the Mitsubishi Oman Assistance app is a gateway to everything Mitsubishi. Its main function is to put all the features and functions of the website directly in the palm of your hands. According to GAC, aside from booking test drives and services, the app also provides its users with updates on the latest news, events and offers from GAC, a gallery of images for each of the vehicles sold, detailed information on the brand and the distributor, a means locate your nearest GAC showroom and even provides you with your vehicles service status updates if you already own a Mitsubishi. The app also provides direct links to the brand’s local Facebook, twitter, Instagram and YouTube pages, in addition to providing a direct link to the brands mail website, contact number and email address.

Mark added, “With this app we have provided an interface that is not only simple and easy to use, but also provides immediate access to key features that will form a cornerstone of the ‘Mitsubishi Experience’ in Oman.”
