Arabian Car Marketing, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Consumer Protection (PACP) has withdrawn 149 Ford Escape 4WD vehicles (2008 to 2011 models) for fault in the power steering system, Muscat Daily reported. A technical problem with the sensors puts the vehicles into manual mode, a press release said. The recalled cars include 113 2008 models, 31 models of the year 2009 and five 2011 models. The company stated that the power steering systems of the recalled cars will be inspected at service centres, and their codes re-programmed if they are lost during fault correction.
