Specific duties of the Senior Infrastructure Engineer shall include but not be limited to the following tasks:
• Review the Infrastructural drawings, reports, specification submitted by the DESIGN CONSULTANTs at each stage of the Design to ensure completeness, correctness, compliance with the scope of work and agreements requirements. • Carry out construct ability review during the Design and modification stages. • Review in a timely manner the DESIGN CONSULTANTs submittals and forward comments to the Engineering Manager. • Ensure the DESIGN CONSULTANT incorporates the comments raised from previous stages. • Attend Technical meetings with the DESIGN CONSULTANTs and other Sub- Consultants, Contractor’s and COMPANY Team. • Review Contractor / Consultant’s proposed design organizations and related CV’s and report to Engineering Manager on his findings. • Review any alternative to the Design concept submitted by the DESIGN CONSULTANT, prepare and submit a report including recommendation to the Engineering Manager highlighting advantages and disadvantages of each alternative. • Review the materials proposed by the DESIGN CONSULTANT and propose alternatives to improve the quality, future maintenance, safety and cost effectiveness. • Review the change requests / variations submitted by the DESIGN CONSULTANT. • Review Tender Documents to ensure completeness prior to issuing to Bidders. • Participate in the pre-qualification of the construction contractors’ list. • Review and reply to bidders clarifications, participate in issuing bulletins and attending Technical Meetings with bidders during Tender stage.
Specific duties of the QA/QC Manager shall include but not be limited to the following tasks:
• Monitoring project QA/QC activities during the Construction Phase. • Setting up and monitoring quality systems including Quality Control Procedures and plans for civil construction projects. • Supervising a multi-discipline team of QC Engineers/ Inspectors on site including a site Civil Materials Testing Laboratory. • Perform internal quality audits. • Handle all quality issues with project management.
Specific duties of the Senior MEP Engineer shall include but not be limited to the following tasks:
• Supervising the work ensuring compliance with contract provisions Electrical & Mechanical works. • Verifying the compatibility of the site with the designed permanent works. • Ensuring awareness of all aspects of construction activity in order to provide quality assurance and safety standards in line with contractual requirements. • Interpretation and application of Contract specification in respect of technical matters. • Analysing Contractor’s material submissions (Electromechanical) and approval. • Analysing of Contractor’s technical proposals and their approval. • Reviewing and approving of shop drawings submitted by the Contractor. • Inspecting temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with the Contracts Documents and approved shop drawings and submissions. • Assisting with the inspection of completed work. • Monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of works. • Maintaining records of tests performed and work executed. • Leading the team in commissioning MEP works.
