Abu Dhabi’s non-oil foreign trade up 5.9% in Q1 2014

According to a report by the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi (Scad), the total value of non-oil foreign merchandise trade rose 5.9% during the first quarter of 2014 to Dhs34.9bn, compared with the same period last year, Gulf News has reported. Imports grew by Dhs763m (3.1%), and non-oil exports by Dhs1.602bn (44.2%), while the value of re-exports decreased by Dhs431m (9.9%) during this period, the Scad report said.
