The Qatar Exchange 20 Index ended up by 1.10 per cent to 13,279.27 points, despite a lack of catalysts, such as earnings results. Qatar Oman Insurance gained the most, closing 10 per cent higher at QAR17.49. Islamic Insurance edged up by 4.20 per cent to reach QAR89.60. Doha Bank ended 1.90 per cent higher at QAR58.90.
Doha Insurance failed to join the party and finished as a top loser, down by1.76 per cent to reach QAR83.50.
