Buying power showed no let up, as the Dubai Financial Market General Index (DFMGI) gained 1.57 per cent to close at 4,520.73 points on Tuesday, April 1. Emaar closed 1.51 to reach AED10.10.
Arabtec Holding was the most liquid share, which advanced by 0.50 per cent to hit AED6.02. SHUAA Capital fell by 1.33 per cent to AED1.48. Earlier in the day, SHUAA revealed that it postponed its extraordinary general meeting on March 31 due to a lack of quorum. The next appointment is now scheduled for April 7. Eleven shares advanced, while 11 declined in value. Approximately 650 million shares were traded, valued at AED1.622 billion.
