Inspections to be intensified to prevent viruses from entering KSA

The Saudi Directorate of Health Affairs called its centers at King Abdulaziz International Airport and Jeddah Islamic Seaport to strengthen their inspections in order to prevent any people with serious infectious diseases from entering Saudi territories, The Saudi Gazette reproted. Dr. Sami Badawood, director, said all pilgrims arriving at these two ports of entry would be thoroughly inspected, especially for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (coronavirus), Ebola and other viruses. All health centers have been supplied with advanced equipment and highly qualified medical staff for this purpose. The center at the airport is run by 620 personnel members while 100 look after the one at the seaport. They work around the clock.
