Jordanian inflation rate hits 3.2% in first 7 months

: Saturday, August 16 - 2014 @ 00:20

Jordan’s Department of Statistics (DoS) declared that the inflation rate reached 3.2% during the first seven months of 2014. The DoS attributed the rise to higher rents, besides an increase in the prices of clothes and shoes, tobacco, transport and education. This rise was coupled with a decrease in the prices of meat and poultry, hygienic products, oil and fat as well as telecommunications, the DoS said in a statement reported by The Jordan Times.
