• Plans and manages production process to ensure that production is cost-effective. • Coordinates resources, equipment and material to achieve planned delivery and cost efficiencies of production operations. • Ensures that products are produced in a timely manner and are produced within quality guidelines. • Establishes methods to meet work schedules and coordinates work activities with other units. • Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operation al manufacturing difficulties and communicates with maintenance regarding maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and to prevent operational delays. • Undertakes operational duties as required to meet deadlines and/or cover for staff absences, filling in resource gaps. • Maintains the Inspection of machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization prior to running and ensures that all quality specifications are known per each operation and product, and conforms to specifications. • Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency. to ensure the staff are working within safe work procedures. • Monitors environment to minimize air, water & solid waste pollution to environment. • Provides monthly reports to the direct manager on production performance against agreed internal KPIs. • Prepares and reviews monthly reports and communicates the best monitoring production report with management to determine if goals and objectives are being met. • Manages staff to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained so as to allow continuous completion of work. • Manages Training and development of staff to ensure all employees are adequately skilled and experienced to perform all required duties.
