The Dubai Financial Market General Index (DFMGI) closed one per cent higher at 4,346.93 points on Sunday, March 23. Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance gained the most, ending 11.32 per cent to reach AED2.95. GGICO lost the most, finishing 2.27 per cent lower at AED2.15. Emaar added 1.55 per cent to end at AED9.83. Union Properties (UPP) slipped by 0.50 per cent to AED2.07. Earlier in the day, UPP revealed that it had to postpone its extraordinary general assembly, which was set to take place from March 20 to April 3, due to a lack of quorum.
