Abu Dhabi-listed shares performed mixed on Monday, August 18, with the equity market index ADXGI rising by 0.70 per cent at 5,051.53 points. Sudanese telecom firm Sudatel jumped 7.22 per cent to close at AED1.04.
Earlier in the day, Sudatel said its net profit in the first six months increased “eight times” year on year to hit $28 million. “Earnings Per Share for the period is $0.024, significant increases from $0.003 for the same period 2013.”
The shares of market bellwether Etisalat added slightly to reach AED11.50.
Insurance company Watania plummeted 10 per cent (limit down) to hit AED0.99.
The Doha-based Qatar Exchange (QE) 20 Index fell by 0.43 per cent to 13,486.12 points on Monday, October 27.
