In Doha, the Qatar Exchange 20 Index fell by 1.10 per cent to 12,453.76 points. The biggest lender in the country, Qatar National Bank plummeted 3.83 per cent to QAR176. Vodafone Qatar refused to fall and closed unchanged at QAR19.60. Earlier in the day, the second telecom operator in the gas-rich Gulf state revealed that, at the general assembly held yesterday (June 18), all resolutions proposed on the agenda were approved, including the board of directors’ recommendation of a dividend of AED17 per share.
