Saudi Arabia tells insurers to provide adequate coverage or face licence cancellation

The Saudi Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) has said it would cancel the licences of insurance firms that fail to provide adequate health benefits to policyholders, Arab News has reported. This includes coverage for pregnancy and childbirth and the treatment of children born through artificial fertilisation, regardless of the employment contract, said the CCHI.
