Saudis Arabia stops medical insurance for citizens in private sector

The Saudi health ministry has stopped providing Saudis working in the private sector with free government treatment, Arab News has reported. The decision, which follows recommendations from the Saudi cabinet, means that citizens will have to seek treatment through the insurance companies provided by their employers, which the ministry has stipulated as obligatory for Saudis regardless of earnings.
