Indian hardware and ICT systems integrator, HCL Infosystems, is considering setting up a presence in Oman, as part of its strategy to penetrate the growing GCC market, Muscat Daily has reported. “HCL made its first inroads in the region three years ago. We set up shop in 2010 by acquiring a company in UAE and then we spread to Qatar. We are looking to replicate our success in these two countries in Saudi Arabia and Oman, in the immediate future” senior business development manager at HCL Infosystems MEA, Mohamed Faiaz, told the daily. The firm also offers a wide range of products for computing, storage, networking, security and imaging.
