Hill and Associates continues regional expansion

United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, January 26 - 2005 @ 15:09

As part of their regional development Hill & Associates Middle East (H&A) have continued their expansion in Pakistan. Now offering a full range of Asset Protection & Enterprise Security solutions H&A have expanded upon their traditional Protective Security operations to include local Intelligence Gathering resources and a fully operations ‘safe-house’ located in the port city of Karachi.

“Hill & Associates expansion has been driven largely by our multinational clients and their increased demands for high quality services in the region particularly in areas where assets and personnel may be a risk” said Iliyas Campbell, Senior Vice President Hill & Associates Middle East Ltd.

H&A’s operations in Pakistan include protective security assignments for executives travelling into the country. Local security teams and a series of surveillance detection assets provide security and up to date information on the situation locally as the clients travel from meetings support these. This information gathering ability is essential to professional security planning Mr. Campbell said.

Mr. Campbell recounted an incident in which violence broke out in Karachi following the death of a prominent cleric. “Our clients were attending a meeting in Karachi when the security situation took a sudden deterioration following the death of a cleric who had been attacked the week before. With the aid of the security teams and the advance information from the surveillance detection assets H&A were able to make quick changes to route plans and secure the clients in their hotel until the violence had subsided.”

With operations also growing in Saudi Arabia, Mr. Campbell says that they expect to have a full-time office set-up within the first quarter of 2005 providing the full range of H&A services to clients in the Kingdom including major Oil & Gas companies and Banking Institutions. “Until now all work in Saudi Arabia has been managed from the regional office in Dubai but with the need for close and real-time contact with our clients in the Kingdom it is natural that we expand the business and our resources to cater for this growth in our business” Mr. Campbell said.
