This was announced by Simon Stewart – CEO Nasair who confirmed that the new route is a support to the communication between sister countries and this new route shall accommodate the growing number of passengers using Dammam as the Saudi Gateway toward the Gulf States.
Simon added that Nasair is focusing on Dubai as it is a commercial, economical and social icon in the region, this focus is supported by the encouraging figures of the newly launched Riyadh – Dubai and Jeddah – Dubai Nasair flights. He commented these results encouraged Nasair to go ahead with expanding its existence in Dubai.
Nasair currently operates 14 flights each week between Riyadh – Dubai and 10 per week between Jeddah – Dubai.. The addition of the Dammam – Dubai flights and other current routes between Saudi Nasair bases (Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah and Dammam) and United Arab Emirates major cities (Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah) means the airline will now be operating 51 flights between the two major regional states each week.
