Award-winning Fiat 500 spearheads major re-launch of brand in UAE

“These are very exciting times for Fiat,” said Graham Turner, CEO of the Al Ghandi Auto Group, speaking at the launch of the stylish new facility. “For the re-launch of the brand we couldn’t have asked for a more exciting, fun and innovative vehicle than the 500 – quite literally the car that Europe went crazy for.”

Confirming its reputation as an Italian style icon capable of winning the hearts and minds of the public and the international motoring press, this remarkable car recently set a new record, the 500,000th vehicle rolling off the production line earlier this year, demonstrating the incredible demand for this truly iconic vehicle, which is on sale in more than 80 different countries around the world.

In addition to success on the sales front, the Fiat 500, which features best in class safety features including 7 airbags, and delivers leading fuel economy and emission standards, has already won 40 international awards and has received the prestigious EuroNCAP 5 star safety rating, taking top spot in its segment.

This production record and the model’s unquestionable popularity are the result of the 500’s great ability to generate new versions, and National Auto will soon add the 500 Cabriolet and high-performance Arbath versions to the 500 range on offer in the UAE.

“Fiat is back, rejuvenated with its best ever line up of vehicles and is determined to succeed in the UAE,” added Turner. “This determination will see us significantly expanding the Fiat range over and above the 500 – the new Fiat Bravo, also on display in the showroom, has literally just arrived in the UAE, and in the coming months we also plan to launch the all-new Fiat Linea, enabling us to strongly compete in the UAE’s key vehicle segments.”

The new dedicated National Auto Fiat showroom, with plenty of free customer parking available, is conveniently located on the junction of Nad Al Hamar Road and Al Awir Road in the Ras Al Khor Complex in Dubai.
