H.E Sheikh Tariq Al Qassimi receives ‘The Best Achievement Award’

The award, presented by the organizing committee of the Arab World Travel and Tourism Exchange (AWTTE 2004) and the Lebanese Tourism Ministry, was officially announced in a special ceremony.

H.E Dr. Ali Abdullah , the Tourism Minister – Lebanon, expressed his happiness and appreciation to all Sheikh Tariq efforts is supporting the tourism sector of Sharjah, while presenting the award to him.

“For the last five year, we had known Sheikh Tariq as a very energetic young business man, well – organized and strongly motivated. It is the hard working spirit that we appreciate and the ability to achieve that we consider.” Says H.E Dr. Ali Abdullah in his comment on the reason behind awarding Sheikh Tariq.

Abdullah further added “Sheikh Tariq has a major contribution to the Sharjah’s tourism sector. Being the chairman of SCTDA, Al Qassimi , supported the marketing destination process of Sharjah locally, regionally and internationally. Through Sheikh Tariq, we are congratulate, the Emirate of Sharjah on the great effort to support the Arabian tourism sector and its contribution to the Arab world economy.”

“congratulating H.E Sheikh Taiq Bin Faisal Al Qassimi on the award, I would like to express that AWTTE 2004 represents a highly significant economic and tourism opportunity for Sharjah, due to its ability to attract such a large number of major players in the regional tourism industry. We hope, our first participation in AWTTE 2004, will be of a great benefit to the tourism sector of Sharjah.” Says Mohammed Al Noman, in his comment on receiving the first participation for Sharjah in AWTT 2004.

The delegation consisted of senior representatives of major players in the travel and tourism industry in Sharjah, including Sharjah International Airport Authority, Air Arabia and main Sharjah hotels and travel agencies.
