We look forward to witnessing the graduates’ achievements and growth in their future journeys and careers.”
Most of the graduates have their future move already planned, including Maryam Ibrahim who has been hired by Twofour54, taking on the role of production executive, and Mohamed Al Marzouqi, who joined Twofour54’s freelance pool team. Hameeda Al Rahbi has enrolled in a scholarship programme and will continue her studies in the United States at the New York Film Academy in film making.
Intaji programme graduate Maryam Ibrahim, said: “I have always been fascinated and interested to work in productions, however I did not have the training or experience needed to get into this field of work. Twofour54’s Intaji programme was the perfect opportunity for me to receive world-class training to jump start my career in the media and entertainment industry. After completing the training programme and getting employed at Twofour54, I am really looking forward to bringing what I have learned at the programme to my new role as a production executive at Twofour54.”
The Intaji programme includes 10 weeks of foundation training, 18 weeks of on-the-job training in various disciplines and 24 weeks of training in a chosen specialization. The students are given the opportunity to work with major international productions filming in Abu Dhabi.
The programme was launched by Twofour54, the commercial arm of the Media Zone Authority–Abu Dhabi, in 2010. Students can specialise in a wide-range of media disciplines including camera operations, lighting, media management, audio, video and graphics. The course provides a comprehensive understanding of television and broadcasting and encourages students to take up a career in media.
The Intaji programme is developed by Twofour54 tadreeb in cooperation with its global training partners and Twofour54 intaj, the leading provider of media facilities and services.
The graduating students received certificates to recognize them for their dedication and the development of skills and competencies needed to succeed in the dynamic media industry. They will be assisted in finding permanent employment within the Twofour54 creative community of world-class media companies.
