Ericsson raised six factors for success that the region’s telecom industry can adopt to capitalize on mobile broadband potential opportunities in the emerging Networked Society, when everything is connected in real-time. Known as the ‘Growth Codes’, Ericsson presented at the GSMA Mobile 360 Middle East Series, co-located at GITEX, in Dubai on October 21 and 22.

As defined by Anders Lindblad, president of Region Middle East at Ericsson, in his keynote presentation, the main elements that help operators realize their future potential and success are: visionary investing, collaboration, experience-centric KPIs, quality-led marketing, operational innovation and redefined subscriptions. These Growth Codes combined with superior network performance and an innovative go-to-market strategy will drive operator success in the Networked Society.

“Mobile data traffic is expected to grow at an incredible 50% annually between 2012 and 2018. Ericsson understands that mobility, broadband and the cloud are coming together to fuel this growth and shape the future of business and society. To meet growing consumer data demands, we are strengthening our partnerships with operators across the region to support their plans to deploy the latest and most important technologies like LTE and others, while also realizing the six Growth Codes,” said Lindblad.

As part of the keynote, Lindblad discussed how the six key factors for success will allow for profitable, double-digit top line growth for the region’s telecom industry. The Growth Codes enable the operators to capitalize on a changing industry and grow at twice the speed of their markets.

The GSMA Mobile 360 Middle East Series gathered industry experts from across the region, and served as a platform to discuss the most pressing issues, opportunities and challenges facing the mobile industry in the Middle East. Ericsson believes LTE will help operators meet future network capacity and coverage challenges, hence enabling the long-term Networked Society, and has supplied more than 60 live commercial LTE networks on all continents.Ericsson presented six success factors, or 'Growth Codes' to advance the ICT industry in the region.
