The announcement was made during a recent event in attended by Dr. Rashid Ahmed bin Fahd, Minister of Environment and Water. The two partners announced the launch of “Mabanina” programmme, which is aimed at providing innovative solutions to efficiently manage buildings at the highest standards while reducing energy consumption and cutting down expenses.
The programme includes a plan to replace building utility fittings to become more efficient in power consumption and fix rates for facility management fees at a competitive rate for 5 years. The building owners will guarantee predictable cost for their facilities and high standards of management in addition to introducing energy efficient measures.
Mustafa Al Ateek, General Manager, eFM, commented on the new partnership, he said: “Mabanina programme will provide comprehensive solutions to businesses; bringing benefits related to cost cutting and better facility management. This will also be extended to prolonging the life cycle of the organizational assets. The programme also helps these enterprises to meet new green building regulations like LEED or receiving the Estidama certificate set by Dubai Municipality.
Mr. Khaled Bushnaq, EMS, said: “The combined efforts of EMS with their specialized regional expertise in energy management and eFM insight on facility management will form a unique model to provide comprehensive and integrated management service for buildings and facilities. The joint programme creates a one stop shop for facilities management, energy management, and consultancy services through one provider.”
