UAE-based construction firm Arabtec Holding has said it has won a Dhs22.44bn ($6.1bn) contract from Aabar Properties to build 37 towers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Bloomberg has reported. The deal involves the construction of hotels and residential buildings, the company said. Aabar plans to award Arabtec $20bn of deals in countries including the US, Egypt, Morocco and Serbia, Arabtec said. Last month, Arabtec won a Dhs5.7bn contract to build an amusement park in Jordan.
