Bahrain’s Manara Developments has announced the kingdom’s infrastructure development, Investment Gateway, is set to start in the third quarter of the year, Gulf Daily News has reported. The tender for the works was issued on May 5 and specialised contractors in the country have been invited to submit bids, Manara Developments managing director Dr Hasan Al Bastaki said. The scope of infrastructure works will include internal transportation network, sewage system, electrical wiring and communication network to develop a modern and progressive infrastructure with potential for future developments and improvements. Investment Gateway is dedicated to light industry and commercial activities in the Muharraq governorate and likely to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2016.
