Dubai-headquartered contractor, Drake & Scull International (DSI) has said its first-quarter net profit has dropped 27.1%, missing analysts’ estimates, Reuters has reported. The firm made a net income of Dhs45.7m ($12.4m) in the first three months of 2014, compared with Dhs62.7m in the same period of last year. DSI didn’t state the reasons behind the drop in its quarterly earnings. Analysts had forecast a net profit for the period of Dhs58.9m.
